John Marshall

John Marshall  is the men’s and women’s track & field/cross country teams head coach at St. Peter's University.

 

Marshall got his start in collegiate coaching in 1992 as an assistant at his alma mater, Villanova. There he served as the assistant coach for track and field/cross country from 1992-1994 before being elevated to head coach in 1994.

 

As head coach, he led the Wildcats for four seasons until 1998, guiding the program to a national championship in 1994 and coaching two individual national champions in Jen Rhines and Carrie Tollefson.

 

Following his departure from Villanova, Marshall served as the head track and field coach and personal trainer at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA from 1998-2001.
